Jonathan Sawyer of Sawyer Ceramics embodies the spirit of the young ceramic entrepreneur today; hard working, social media savvy, and interested in time and energy saving technology. He started his business in 2009 in his garage, selling at farmers markets in San Diego from the back of his truck. He now sells on sawyerceramics.com and Etsy to customers across the US, and employs a full-time worker who surfs in her off hours.
